The Chicago Bears visit the Seattle Seahawks in Monday Night Football on Monday, November 2, 2026, at Lumen Field in Seattle. Kickoff is at 8:15 p.m. ET, 7:15 p.m. CT, on ESPN, with Joe Buck and Troy Aikman on the call.

Chicago is 5-2 and has won two straight since quarterback Caleb Williams returned from a three game absence, throwing for 613 yards across wins over Atlanta and New England, according to the Associated Press preview. Seattle is 4-3 and shut down Kansas City 20-3 in its last game. The Seahawks have the top ranked defense in the league by yards allowed, at 233.9 yards per game, and rank fourth in points allowed at 17.9 per game.

Two trade additions make their Monday debuts

Both sidelines have a new name from the trade market. Defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons is set for his Bears debut after arriving from Tennessee, and guard Quenton Nelson is part of a rebuilt Seattle offensive line after his trade from Indianapolis.

The injury lists are longer in Seattle. The Seahawks are without wide receiver Rashid Shaheed, who has a knee injury, and tackle Charles Cross, who has an ankle injury. Chicago is without running back Kyle Monangai, who has a thumb injury, and tight end Cole Kmet, whose season ended with a knee injury.

Seattle is a 3 point favorite at home. A Chicago win pulls the Bears within half a game of Minnesota in the NFC North, while Seattle needs the win to stay in contact with San Francisco in the NFC West.

How the two teams arrive

Seattle is the defending Super Bowl champion and plays the middle game of a three game home stand. The Seahawks are strong at home under head coach Mike Macdonald, with a 13-3 home record in his time in charge, and their passing connection between quarterback Sam Darnold and wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba has been the offense's main threat. Running back Zach Charbonnet is set for his season debut on Monday, and Jadarian Price is available for the first time in a month, while linebacker Uchenna Nwosu is unlikely to play.

Chicago's offense ranks third in the league in yards, at 390.7 per game, and eighth in scoring, at 25.7 points per game, despite losing Williams for three games. That sets up the night's central contest: Ben Johnson's offense against a Seattle defense that leads the league. The game is also on Westwood One radio, with Kevin Harlan and Kurt Warner, and on local television on KCPQ-13 in Seattle and WCIU 26 in Chicago.
